Based on what we read last week, compare and contrast the text to the movie.

2.  Read Chapter Two

As we read focus on symbolism.

Flag symbols as you read.

3.  Analysis

Choose 1 symbol from the chapter.

With a partner, create and image and write a TPEQEA paragraph.

Your paragraph should answer the question:

What does your symbol represent?

Closure:

How does your symbol influence the text?
