Obj: I can identify similarities and differences between the text and film. 

 

Starter:

Go through and revise your Cornell Notes.

Highlight key words and write HOT questions.

 

Activity:

 

1.  Watch The Crucible.

While watching, your computers will remain closed and cell phones put away.

2.  Assignment Refresher

MOVIE ASSIGNMENT

Part One

You will create TWO separate Venn Diagrams.

One will evaluate the similarities and differences in the characters.

The other will evaluate similarities and differences in plot.

Each Venn Diagram must have at least 15 points in it.

Part Two

Respond to the Short Answer Questions.

Provide at least 3 sentences for each.

1.  How was the movie version different than you imagined?

2.  Explain how the movie impacted your understanding of the text.

3.   If you were the director, what would you have done differently?

 

 

Closure:

Rate the movie out of 5 stars.

5 being the best thing ever.

Explain.
